Both fighters entered the ring very confidently.  Paul performed an excellent Wai Kru and all credit to Al Oakley's fighter who performed a well balanced and aesthetic Ram Muay.

First round was hard for Paul and he got dominated in the clinch.  As  he came into the corner for the end of the first,  we immediately changed strategy.
Second round started and Paul landed some excellent low knees and overhands in the clinch that rocked his opponent. He also implemented some beautiful sweeps from the clinch.  His opponent was also excellent in the clinch so there was some great work from both, each constantly working and landing some great shots.  Paul won the second round.

Third round was equally hard, both fighters stepped up the pace with some great clinch work again.  Some great sweeps from the clinch once again.  Some feisty moments in the fight, but great determination to win from both.  Each fighter showed some fantastic muay thai skills.  Referee scored a draw........Would have been nice to have done five rounds.
