Ascot is pleased to announce the NEW Kids Muay Thai
Program - "Muay Thai Warriors".
We
accept children from 5 - 12 years of age. Children
13 and above have the opportunity to join the adults
classes.
Sukhothai as
an association, has been teaching children for over 10
years. Within that time we have looked at a number
of ways to achieve results for groups of children.
Our experience has shown us that having an integrated
class of children from 5 - 12 years old gets the results
we are personally looking for.
The younger ones look up to the older ones and the older
ones look after the younger ones, resulting in a great
team atmosphere.
Our
approach is very different from traditional martial arts
schools & academies.
Firstly, for children "play is the way".
Here at Sukhothai, our number one objective is that
training is fun and fulfilling.
All
classes are taught by an accomplished, certified
instructor (KRU Matt Walton), who also has 3 of his own
children, which all 3 are budding Muay Thai Warriors.
There is also a team of assistants who ensure all children
have the correct supervision.

We make
certain that Muay Thai is learned safely and injury free.
True Muay Thai concepts are taught in a child friendly
manner, emphasising teamwork, individual accomplishment,
and games.
The physical benefits for children are immeasurable and
invaluable.
Here at Sukhothai, all children will be able to learn by
observation that Muay Thai is not only great fun, an
incredible martial art and self defence system but also
promotes encouragement, thoughtfulness, respect and
confidence. All vital ingredients for aiding
achievements at school and supporting family values.
